About

The Florida Department of Transportation is enhancing Interstate 75 (I-75) in Marion and Sumter Counties, from south of State Road (S.R.) 44 to S.R. 200.   A second project, scheduled to begin in late summer 2025, will focus on enhancements from S.R. 200 to S.R. 326 (FPID No. 452074-1) in Marion County.

Both projects will add auxiliary lanes to the interchanges and in some locations, infrastructure improvements will be made. Improvements to several interchanges are also proposed, including modifications to the I-75 interchanges at S.R. 326 and S.R. 40. The approved design will help relieve congestion on I-75 while also providing resiliency for this heavily trafficked roadway.  Project documents are provided below.
