The purpose of this project is to resurface a section of State Road (S.R.) 40 from U.S. 41 to SW 119th Avenue, west of Ocala in Marion County. In addition to repaving the travel lanes, the project will include drainage and guardrail upgrades. The pedestrian curb ramps at the intersection of SW 140th Avenue will be reconstructed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Intersection lighting will be evaluated.
