The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing safety and operational improvements along State Road (S.R.) 513 from S.R. 518 to Patrick Space Force Base in the cities of Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach to extend the service life of the existing roadway.

In addition to resurfacing, the project involves paving operations to provide buffered bicycle lanes and reconstruct curbs. Pedestrian curb ramps will also be rebuilt to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
