The intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Masterson Street will be upgraded from a flashing signal to a fully operational traffic signal with pedestrian crossings. In addition, new signal heads are proposed at the nearby intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Lake Washington Road.

Both intersections are located adjacent to active railroad tracks. These improvements are intended to enhance traffic flow and increase safety for both motorists and pedestrians in the area.
