About
The purpose of this project is to maintain a safe driving surface along U.S. 1 (State Road (S.R. 5) from Woodland Avenue to the Flagler County line in Ormond Beach. The project will repave the northbound lanes of U.S. 1 from Woodland Avenue to north of Nova Road (S.R. 5A).
Resurfacing on the southbound lanes will occur from Woodland Avenue to south of Pine Tree Drive and from north of Destination Daytona Lane to the Flagler County line.
The segment of U.S. 1 between Pine Tree Drive and Destination Daytona Lane will be reconstructed as part of the Interstate 95 (I-95) at U.S. 1 interchange reconstruction project (419772-3).
The project will also upgrade pedestrian curb ramps as needed in compliance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
