This project plans to reconstruct and upgrade the existing traffic signal, including new mast arm signal poles. The project also proposes removing the free-flow right turn lanes and bringing all turning movements under signal control. Lane Closures
-
Monday, December 16 to Friday, January 3: Motorists should anticipate continuous double lane closures in the southbound outside and right turn lanes of State Road (S.R.) 434 from Cape Cod Road to State Road (S.R.) 436 (Altamonte Drive). These closures are being done to make way for crews as they work to widen the turn lane, relocate a bus stop, and install new traffic signals.
FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!
