This corridor planning and concept development study evaluated multi-modal transportation improvements along a 4.2-mile section of State Road (S.R.) 519 between the Barnes Boulevard/I-95 northbound ramps and S.R. 520 in Brevard County, Florida.

This planning study was completed October 2018.  The intent of the study was to facilitate discussion on opportunities to improve safety, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and operations within this corridor.  The outcome of the study includes recommendations for improvements that can be implemented with synergistic future construction projects.  Although the Department continues to seek opportunities for implementation, a dedicated project to implement the recommendations for the entire corridor is not currently funded for design, right of way, or construction.
