About
The purpose of this project is to increase capacity and improve safety on the segment of State Road (S.R.) 50 from the Sumter/Lake County line to County Road (C.R.) 33. The project proposes to widen S.R. 50 from two lanes to four lanes.
The right of way acquisition phase for this project is underway and is expected to finish in early 2026.
The project is not yet funded for construction.
