The purpose of this project is to remove vegetation, debris and other material along Ellis Road from west of John Rodes Boulevard to west of Wickham Road in Melbourne and West Melbourne to accommodate utility relocations. The work is needed to prepare the corridor for the Ellis Road widening project (426905-4) that will increase capacity along the roadway by adding a travel lane in each direction and new raised median.
