Traffic Advisory: WB I-4 Entrance Ramp and EB I-4 Exit Ramp at Sand Lake Road to Close Overnight Sept. 15 and 18
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) and the eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Sand Lake Road at Exit 74A will be closed overnight on Monday, September 15, and Thursday, September 18, for a traffic shift and bridge work.
On Monday night, September 15, the closures will be:
· Westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Sand Lake Road
· Eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A)
On Thursday night, September 18, the closure will be:
· Eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A)
The ramp closures are scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, with the final closure reopening early Friday morning, September 19.
Detour for Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Sand Lake Road
Motorists on Sand Lake Road who wish to access westbound I-4 should travel north on Turkey Lake Road and turn right onto eastbound Hollywood Way. Drivers will then turn right onto Adventure Way and proceed south to the westbound I-4 entrance ramp.
Detour for Eastbound I-4 Exit Ramp to Sand Lake Road
During the ramp closure, motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A) will continue east and take Exit 75A at Universal Boulevard. Drivers will then turn right onto southbound Universal Boulevard and proceed to Sand Lake Road.
