Traffic Advisory: Road Closure on North Orange Avenue at North Ivanhoe Boulevard to Start July 21
ORLANDO, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing a temporary continuous road closure at the intersection of North Ivanhoe Boulevard and North Orange Avenue (State Road (S.R.) 527) starting as early as Monday, July 21.
The work, which involves utility work and resurfacing the intersection, will require temporary detours for drivers attempting to access North Ivanhoe Boulevard from North Orange Avenue. North Orange Avenue will remain open to traffic.
The detours are expected to last until early August.
Detour information (see attached detour map):
- Motorists wishing to access North Ivanhoe Boulevard from North Orange Avenue should turn onto East New Hampshire Street, then turn left onto Gurtler Court and continue to North Ivanhoe Boulevard.
- Motorists wishing to access North Orange Avenue from North Ivanhoe Boulevard should turn onto Gurtler Court, then turn right onto East New Hampshire Street, and continue to North Orange Avenue.
Additionally, periodic single lane closures will occur during both daytime and nighttime hours. Construction schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise caution in the work zone.
